If placed in a correct position, MyNoise efficiency reaches values of virtually 100%.
It works in such a way that it chokes up the microphone by ultrasound, thus making it impossible to make any recordings. In comparison to usual noise generator, the ultrasound interference is advantageous in the fact that the interference lacks any audible noise as adults are insensitive to it to a large degree.
Interference of any given space is therefore very discreet and silent. During meetings, the device can be placed into a quality BoxNoise made of glass together with phones and other devices with a microphone. This allows for maximum efficiency of the device and absolutely silent operation is warranted.
Power Supply:
The device is powered by an internal Li-Pol battery. Operation period is programmed to be limited to 180 minutes. When the time has elapsed, the device will switch off automatically. One recharge cycle gives a minimum of 10 hours of operation.
The device is recharged by a standard 5V/1A source with a micro USB connector, or it can be recharged by a PC and a micro USB cable.
Controls:
After the power-RUN button has been pressed, the device will emit a short acoustic signal and starts to emit the interference signal. Operation of the device is also indicated by blinking of green LED: RUN. When the power-RUN button is pressed again, the device will switch off. The device is set to switch off automatically after 180 minutes of operation. Shortly before this period has elapsed, the device will indicate this acoustically by emitting of several warning pulses, after which it will switch off.
